9/11 Memorial Mile - FAQ's
Where do the proceeds go?
Proceeds from the memorial run/walk go towards a scholarship fund for Pasco County students looking to become first responders and other Rotary Community Projects. Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel plans to add to its 9/11 Memorial Wall located at the Tampa Premium Outlets each year and expand it to include local heroes who have served the community. (Since this is a fundraiser, there will be no refunds. If you cannot make the Live event, your registration will be switched to the virtual option, and you will still be able to get your event packet, including shirt and bib. Arrangements can be made to have your packet mailed for an additional shipping and handling fee.)
The Rotary Club Of Wesley Chapel Noon Fund is a registered 501c3. Is this a "Live" race event?
YES!!! The 9/11 Memorial Mile & 5k will be held live this year at the Tampa Premium Outlets. There will be dignitaries and special events lined up after the walk. Details TBD. There is also a Virtual 9/11 Memorial mile as well in case you cannot make it out on the morning of 9/11. You can run or walk your mile anywhere and at any pace you want.
Can we register on September 7?
No, there will be no day of event registration. Please register early, online registration closed Friday, September 6, 2024 at 7PM. Shirt sizes are guaranteed if preregistered before August 15, 2024. After that shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis. Sorry but no shirt exchanges until after the event.
When and where can I get my packet? (No Registration on event morning only packet pickup)

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, someone else can pick up your packet at packet pick up, or for an additional fee, you can have it mailed to you at your home!.
