Support my participation in the 9th Annual BFIT Challenge powered by National Grid where 100% of the money fundraised goes towards first responder and military charities!
Team MR8 is once again partnering with McLean Hospital and Boston Firefighters EAP for the BFIT Challenge. All proceeds from our efforts benefit the LEADER program at McLean. The LEADER (Law Enforcement, Active Duty, Emergency Responder) program provides specialized mental health and addiction services, designed specifically for men and women in uniform.
McLean Hospital understands that police, active military and other first responders endure unique on-duty and personal stresses, and also face many obstacles in seeking help. Their team of physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and counselors is experienced and expert in working with police, active military and first responders as well as their families.
