Frequently Asked Questions
These are some of our most commonly asked questions:
What are the requirements to participate in the BFit Challenge powered by National Grid?
To participate in the BFit Challenge, you must be 16 years old and you must fundraise a minimum of $300.
How does fundraising work if I am part of a team?
If you are part of a team, you can still fundraise individually or you can fundraise as a team -- it is up to you! The only requirement is that the overall fundraised amount for the team is equivalent to $300/team member. For example, if you are a team of 10, then overall the team must fundraise $3,000. This $3,000 can be $300 on each team member's individual fundraising page, all on 1 or a few team member's individual fundraising page(s), all donated directly to the team and not necessarily on an individual fundraising page, or a mix of all of those! The most important takeaway is that teams have a fundraising requirement of $300 per team member! IMPORTANT: TEAMS DO NOT HAVE TO FUNDRAISE JUST $300 TOTAL, A TEAM'S TOTAL MUST EQUAL $300 PER MEMBER ON THE TEAM!
How do I register for the BFit Challenge without making a fundraising page?
As this is a fundraising event, this is impossible. Every single person that registers for the BFit Challenge automatically has an individual fundraising page created for them -- this is what registering is! Refer to the question above if you are confused why individual fundraising pages are required even if you are joining a team.

IF YOU DO NOT RAISE the $300 minimum by event day (January 25, 2026) or your team has not raised enough money to cover your $300, your credit card will be charged (on event day whether you come or you don’t) the remaining amount needed to reach the $300 minimum requirement. This does not pertain to sponsors.
