Dave U. was a longtime supporter of the Bonnie Fang Foundation who volunteered at many of its fundraisers, and even co-emceed the events with Doreen Fang. Sadly, we lost Dave to Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in May 2025. In his memory, his friends contributed to the Bronze Sponsorship and created the "Dave's Gray Ribbon Runners" group. The gray ribbon symbolizes brain cancer awareness, and this disease is recognized in the month of May.
