Event Day Registration & Check-In

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Help register and check-in participants as they arrive onsite.
Volunteers will help to provide race items to participants (Bib, timing chip, t-shirt). Volunteers should have good communication and technology skills.

Volunteers will be utilized for various other duties after Check-In has completed.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Goodie Bag/Post Race Food High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist with some goodie bag assembly and hand out to participants after they have checked in.

This position will transition to Post Race Food set up and distribution. Volunteers will help prepare and pass out post race food items (water, fruit, snacks).

Volunteers should be able to manage light lifting and standing for 3+ hours.

Volunteers will be utilized for various other duties after post race food preparation and distribution has completed.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Vendor Fair Set Up & Breakdown

No volunteer spots remaining.

This volunteer task is full.

Details

Volunteers will help event crew set up and break down event equipment.
Volunteers will also support vendors with load-out of their booths.
Volunteers should be able to manage light lifting and standing for 3+ hours

Volunteers will be utilized for various other duties after set up and breakdown has completed.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Course Monitors High Priority

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will help participants along the course to identify course directions. Volunteers should be energetic and able to manage standing for 2+ hours. Though not required it is suggested that course monitors carry a cell phone to call for assistance should a participant need aid.


*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Fluid Station High Priority

At least 7 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will hand out fluid and food along the course to participants.
Volunteers should be able lift light loads and stand for 3+ hours.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Finish Line Medals

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will hand out medals to all finishers - 5K and 10K medals.
May require long periods of standing and rotating during the finish.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Details

Volunteer will assist with raffle set up, ticket sales and distribution of prizes.
Volunteers should be able to manage light lifting and standing for 3+ hours.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.

Photographers High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Photographers will take digital photos of various aspects of the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: pre-race activities (Check-in, Goodie Bag Distribution, Arch, Sponsor Banners, Medals, etc.), participants on the course, post-race activities (Awards Ceremony, Raffle Prizes, Vendor Fair, Snack Station, etc.), and documentation of all donated products (with product names facing forward). Photographers will be assigned specific areas to photograph and will need to deliver all photos to the BFF, for the staff to use at its discretion. Will require photographers to walk/stand for 3+ Hours.

*If possible, it would be appreciated if volunteers can stay until the event is over, to assist with Breakdown and Clean Up.
