Victor Ojeda started in the shoe care industry in his early 20s as a shoe shine boy in Century City. He then moved to work in a shoe repair shop in Los Angeles where he learned the many skills he knows today to continue doing the craft. In April of 2021, the opportunity to purchase Everetts Shoe Repair came and he purchased the shop from 40-year owner, Ernie. The community has shown up and supported him since day one as they bring shoes, purses, and other leather goods for repair and restoration. People often mention they are happy the shop remained a shoe repair because it is a staple in the Village. It is close to being 100 years old in the same spot in Claremont and people really show pride for that. Victor is really happy to be part of this community and looks forward to many years of providing the best service in Claremont and surrounding areas.
