The Sickle Cell Center of Nevada (SCCNV) created under the umbrella of the Hematosis and Thrombosis Center of Nevada (HTCNV) in 2020, is the first comprehensive Sickle Cell clinic in the state. Led by renowned hematologist and passionate SCD advocate Dr. Nik Abdul Rashid. SCCNV aims to provide quality treatment and access to new medications and advances to SCD patients throughout Nevada. The clinic, the brainchild of Dr. Rashid, is the only clinic currently available to treat children and adults with SCD in Southern and Northern Nevada.
