3RD ANNUAL LAS VEGAS SICKLE CELL WALK

Dreamsickle Kids Foundation is hosting our 3rd Annual Las Vegas Sickle Cell Walk to increase Sickle Cell Awareness and support in Nevada and also highlight the creation of the only comprehensive Sickle Cell Clinic for children and adults in the state led by hematologist Dr. Nik Rashid. The Sickle Cell Center of Nevada (SCCNV) was created in January of 2020 to offer comprehensive Sickle Cell treatment to all patients with SCD in the state , particularly, the Las Vegas area.  This being a major win for the Sickle Cell population of Nevada, we want to show appreciation to the doctor who made this happen and highlight the new clinic. This year with everything that has been going on with the pandemic, we adjusted how we would do our annual fundraiser and are offering a virtual race foe those who wish to remain a safe distance from others . We will also be offering an in person walk with a limited attendance from our Las Vegas community. With going digital this year, we hope to have the support of those in the community from across the US and beyond.
