Description
Shivering Serpent 2020 is the first virtual race through 1 Field Ambulance.
This year has been tough on everyone and has seen the cancellations of many events that a lot of people were looking forward to. To combat these trends a virtual race was developed to bring members together in competition as well as in small groups (albeit at a distance). Participants can complete a 5 km Run/Walk, a 10 km run, or a 15 km run. This event is open to all 1 Fd Amb members. Because the event is virtual it can be completed anywhere whether it's in your living room, around the base, on a treadmill, or the indoor track. You can even be deployed and compete! It has been approved to be completed during work hours too just let your supervisor know before you take off.
