Grab your green and white and join us for one of AFSA’s festive FUN runs.  The St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run is all about family fun and fitness.

Kids 16 and under run for ½ price!  The first 200 registered runners/walkers will receive a FREE t-shirt!  Limited size supply.  EVERY registered participant gets a goodie bag.

We will have an area set up the day of event on the tennis courts behind the Southside Fitness Center for people to check in and pick up their goodie bag.  

**Please remember it is the runner's responsibility to make sure he/she has access to the base or an escort to get them on base.**

FAQs:

Do I need to be an experienced runner to do the 5K?
No way! The St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run is all about a fun day with friends and family. You can run, walk, crawl, or cartwheel if you wish.

What should I wear?                                                                                                                                                                           You’ll want to make sure you are dressed for the weather, of course.  But, have FUN. Dress up. This is the kind of race that screams for crazy socks, a tutu, large hats, and/or a fabulous beard.

What is included with my registration?
Each registered participant will receive a goodie bag complete with a custom event t-shirt (while supplies last), a green mustache, and runner’s bib.

Can children participate in the 5K?
On one condition, if you are prepared to be one of the coolest parents on the planet!  If they can cover the St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run 5K course, whether it’s running, jogging, walking, or strolling, they can absolutely participate in 5K! Small children being pushed in a stroller or pulled in a wagon do not need to register. Any participant who will be on foot on the course needs to register and receive a race number!

Can I run with my dog/cat/turtle?
Animals on leashes are welcome to participate. Don’t forget to bring your own baggies to clean up after your pet.

Is The St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run 5K timed?
The St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run 5K is not a time chip event. We will have a race clock and will be tracking at least the first wave of runners for results/awards purposes.  There will be a prize for the top 2 male and female runners. We suggest self-timing for anyone desiring a completely accurate finish time.

Are there refunds? Can I transfer my registration to another person? 
Refunds are not available. Registrations are non-transferable.

How do I get my goodie bag?
We will have an area set up the day of event on the tennis courts behind the Southside Fitness Center for people to check in and pick up their goodie bag.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
You bet!  As long as you send them with a printed or electronic copy of your confirmation email!

What happens if there is bad weather?
A little rain won’t stop the St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run 5K! Rain or shine we will be there! If there is inclement weather i.e. snow or ice, an email will be sent to registered participants detailing alternate plans.

What Is The St. Paddy’s Mustache Fun Run 5K fundraiser for?
