Kid’s Winter Triathlon Camp
Run – Fat Tire Bike – Cross Country Ski
Join us for the 1st EVER Kid’s only winter triathlon camp! Our team sponsor, Chain Reaction Cycles and 9zero7 are loaning out 10 kids fat tire bikes FOR FREE for every kid that joins the Winter Tri Camp! Families will be responsible for picking up the fat tire bikes from Chain Reaction Cycles on Sunday, bringing them every day to camp and returning them on Friday after camp! This will allow kids to get fitted to the proper bike and allow families to check out Chain Reactions Cycles NEW LOCATION (goal to open in November 2017!). Kids will need to have their own xc skis. Skate Skis are preferred but Classic is OK too!

Example of 1day of Camp:
10-10:15am – Team building game
10:15-11:30pm – Fat Tire Bike ride
11:30-12pm – Run skills
12-1pm – Lunch at Russian Jack Chalet
1-2:30pm – XC Ski workout
2:30-3pm – Transition practice
3-4pm – Mini Triathlon
What you need:
-Lunch and water bottle (snacks will be provided by parents must send child with a bag lunch)
-Warm shoes/boots for biking
-Several layers of warm synthetic clothing
-2 pairs of warm gloves (1 for morning, 1 for after lunch)
-2 hats (1 for morning that must fit under helmet, 1 for after lunch)
-Buff/face mask (for biking if below 20 degrees)
-Bike Lock – REQUIRED!
-Sunglasses/goggles (recommended for biking)
-XC Skis – Skate recommended, Classic are OK
-XC Ski Boots
-Hand/toe warmers – recommended
