FAQ Page
YES! We only allow 50 kids per race wave. This is to ensure the safety of all kids while racing, specifically while on the biathlon race bike course, which can get congested.
We recommend the Kincaid Chalet parking lot though it can get full fast. Plan for enough time to park at the lower parking lot and walk up to the start of the race.
At the top of the coastal trail, right behind the round about behind the Kincaid Park Chalet.
Yes! With USA Triathlon sanctioning now being processing in our system, friends and family are welcome to pickup other racers bibs.
We only have race day bib pickup, beginning at 5pm on race day. Plan to come with enough time to grab your bib and chip, usually 30minutes prior to your race is enough time.
Though we love dogs we ask that you keep your dogs at home or in the vehicle. Our race dog is not safe with kids on bikes and dogs. Thanks for understanding.
Nope! Race registration closes 11:59pm the night prior to our race to allow us time to get our system setup and our course ready for race day. Please plan accordingly. It's heart breaking to us when we have to turn away cute little kids on race day... its not fun for anyone!
Though there is not a time limit we encourage newbie duathletes to consider the non-timed wave if they're not certain about their ability or speed. This will allow kids to have fun in a non-pressure setting. With the race being several laps, its emotionally hard for kids that are still on the course when everyone else is gone. The goal is for everyone to finish the race with a smile on their face, feeling success and wanting to come back for another race!
Yep! Free parking at Kincaid Park.
No headphones on any of our race courses, per USAT triathlon rule and for the safety of our racers with wildlife in the area.
Racers are welcome to leave gear in the transition area near their bike. We ask that things stay within a small 3ft wide space to allow all racers space. If you have a large bag you're welcome to leave it under our check-in tent.
Yes! All racers that register by April 1st for all 3 races will receive a shirt. After April 1st, shows will be first to check-in, first served at race #1, that signed up for the race series.
Every single racer will receive a finisher race medal.
No water stations will be on the course but water bottles are allow on bikes.
Yes, bathroooms are located at the Kincaid Chalet and portapotties are outside of the chalet as well, which is 200yards from the start/finish line.
