Description
Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act and the 18th Annual Run for the Refuge trail race!
(5k walk/run, 10K run, 1 mile Walk for Wilderness)
Sunday July 27 at 1pm. Race begins at the UAF Ski Hut!
Learn fun facts about the Arctic Refuge along the trail and support its protection. Entry fee includes snacks after the race, t-shirt for first 100 to sign up, and prizes for the first place finishers (men, women, and children under 12 classes for 5k and 10k).
Special this year! Walk for Wilderness, a family friendly 1 mile walk where anyone can learn first hand from "Wilderness Heroes" (like Mardy Murie).
NEW PRICING FOR THE WALK! - $12 for individuals or a whole family! Any number of family members can enter the walk at the price of 1, but they only recieve one free t shirt.
