Description
Seward Parks & Recreation is excited to host the 2026 Exit Glacier 5k and 10k Race in Seward, Alaska! Both races will start at the Resurrection Roadhouse on Herman Leirer Road and follow an out and back route. Register the whole family for this popular event!
All participants will receive a 30"x60" 2026 Exit Glacier beach towel. Early sign ups get an extra giveaway! Sign up by Saturday, April 4th to receive a custom 2026 Exit Glacier T-Shirt!
There will be two options for bib pick up:
- Option 1. Friday, May 15 from 10-8pm at the AVTEC gym located at 519 4th Ave, Seward, AK 99664
- Option 2. Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 - 9:45am at the Resurrection Roadhouse parking lot (Mile 0.5/31752 Herman Leirer Road)

Question. Are dogs allowed?
Answer. No. Dogs are prohibited from the race and from start and finish lines. Please leave all dogs at home, unless they are trained service animals. Service animals are always allowed.
Question. Is same-day registration allowed?
Answer. Yes. Registration will close at 9:30 am on Saturday, May 19. This gives our Timer enough time to input the data and provide racers with the best results.
Question. When is bib pickup?

Question. May we bring our strollers or kids' bikes?
Answer. No. Unfortunately, the road will not be closed to traffic; for the safety of the runners and your family, please keep strollers and bikes at home.

Question. How will the Exit Glacier Race be timed?
Answer. SPRD has contracted Fall Line Fitness timing services for the 2026 race, and you can expect prompt, accurate results!
