Seward Parks & Recreation is excited to host The Wild Fjord Tours Zombie Run in Seward, Alaska! In this festive race, participants wear flag football belts and run a 5k with four "zombie zones" along the way. Zombies are on the loose in these zones and will try to take your flags which will give you a time penalty for your final race time. Will there be a time antidote to shorten your race time along the course? Sign up and find out at this year's race! 

Stay with us after the race for a Zombie Runway walk and vote for your favorite Zombie while we calculate for the winners. 

All registrants will recieve a 2026 Zombie Run Sticker. Early sign ups get an extra giveaway! Sign up by Thursday, September 17th to receive a custom 2026 Wild Fjords Tours Zombie Run T Shirt. 

Race Details & Rules

There will be six different waves with different ages groups participating. All participants must wear a headlamp, provided by SPRD. Here are the corresponding race times with their ages:

5:50pm 7 and under MINI KIDS LOOP

6:10pm 18-30 years old

6:20pm 31-40 years old

6:30pm 41-50 years old

6:40pm 8-17 years old

6:50pm 51-60 years and up

7:00pm 60+ years and up

Bib Pick-Up

There will be two options for bib pick up: 

Option 1. Friday, October 16th from 10am - 8pm at AVTEC gym located at 519 4th Ave, Seward, AK 99664
Option 2. Saturday, October 17th from 10am - 5:30pm at the Seward Middle School located at 304 Sea Lion Avenue
