Description

- The Arbor Day Run is a First Annual 4-miler on May 15th 11am starting at Newcomb Park and finishing at Menard Center. Runners will start at Newcomb Park near Wasilla Lake and run through the city streets of Wasilla taking you past Nunley Park and through Iditapark finally ending at the Menard Center.
- The race will be timed by AKTIVE Soles.
- Race fee: Participant $25.00
- Race-day registration begins at 9 am ends at 10:30 am at Newcomb Park.
- Bib & tee-shirt pick-up May 15th 9 am-10:30 am at Newcomb Park.
- Tee-shirts are an additional $20.00
- Age groups- Top three male & female finishers 14 years and older; Top three male & female finishers 14 years and younger.
- Prizes are provided by Jacobson's Greenhouse.
- First 50 runners will receive a tree seedling. Due to circumstances beyond our control, these will not be given at the race, but when they arrive in June. All runners will receive their coupon for finishing the race.
- Race day parking at Wasilla Public Library; Please do not park in the parking lot of Newcomb Park, area will be used for start of race.
- Transportation will be provided by Valley Transit from the Menard Center to Newcomb Park at 12pm and 1pm.
- NO DOGS.

KIDS RUN 1 mile fun run
- BIB-UP @ the Menard Center at the Pavilion on the south end of the building; near the AKTIVE Soles arch.
- 12:00 pm starting at the Menard Center pathway.
- Flowers will be provided by Jacobson's Greenhouse.
COVID MITIGATION PLAN | If you or anyone in your household is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms the day of the race or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, please do not attend the event. Registration will be refunded to individuals who are ill or been exposed to COVID-19. Please call the Menard Center at 907-357-9100 for a refund. Spectators are not allowed to congregate at the start/finish area of the race. Participants should not arrive to the starting area no more than 10 minutes prior to race start time. Participants will be required to maintain social distance with anyone outside their household before/after the race. Facemasks are encouraged for bib pickup and prior to race start.
