Description
Since 2014, Pink Lady Walk has organized an annual 5K walk/run event to raise awareness and funds for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Our mission is to help alleviate some of the financial burdens caused by breast cancer. Since 2014, we have raised funds for 18 breast cancer survivors, one child with cancer, Hospice of Limestone County, AL, the Patient Assistance Fund at The Southern Cancer Center in Huntsville, AL, and the Joy to Life Foundation in Montgomery, AL.
In addition, we assist with accounts at the local pharmacies in Athens, AL, as well as provide emergency donations to individuals facing economic hardships. We need your support and participation so that we can continue to help more people affected by this dreadful disease!
