Race Overview:

  • Purpose: The 2024 Bell Center 5K is more than just a race: it's a celebration of progress, resilience, and the difference early intervention therapy makes in our community. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting The Bell Center's mission of maximizing the potential of children ages birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay.
  • Course: Our 5K course offers a scenic route through the heart of Homewood, winding by Homewood Park, traversing tree-lined streets, and highlighting local landmarks. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, whether you're an experienced runner or just looking for a leisurely walk.
  • Inclusivity: Families, friends, and people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. Strollers, wheelchairs or other mobility devices, and furry friends on leashes are welcome!
  • Fundraising: We encourage participants to engage in fundraising efforts to support The Bell Center. By registering as a BellRunner, you can create teams, set up personal fundraising pages through Kindful, and help us reach our goals together.
  • Awards and Prizes: Top finishers in various categories will receive awards, but the most significant reward is knowing you've contributed to development of children in our community.
  • Community Spirit: The 2024 Bell Center 5K is a testament to the strength of our community. Join us to share in the spirit of togetherness, support, and empowerment as we take steps toward a brighter future for children with special needs.

Join the race; stay for the inspiration!

  • The Bell Center Children's Run– This fun 50 foot dash is an opportunity for the children attending therapy at The Bell Center to cross the finish line in celebration of all the progress they have made over the year.
  • Post-race Party: After the race, join us for a truly unforgettable morning, including music, food, and drinks.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to 5K races, your participation in the 2024 Bell Center 5K will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. Let's come together to support early intervention therapy and promote a more inclusive and compassionate society.

We'll see you at the starting line!
