2026 Bell Center 5K

The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs is dedicated to maximizing the potential of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay. 

Your donation to The Bell Center will allow us to: 

• Offer our Infant Massage program free to families who were recently discharged from a NICU.
• Serve families through our Family Connections program providing opportunities for in-depth support, parent coaching, and family friendly social events.
• Enhance our programs with nutritional counseling, vision/hearing assessments, movement and music therapy, and animal-assisted therapy.
• Train graduate students from universities including UAB, Samford, Alabama, Montevallo and Auburn for their level II field work and residency requirements.
• Provide financial aid to over 50% of our families to ensure our mission is accessible to all without turning anyone away due to financial constraints.

For over 40 years, we have been providing high quality early intervention therapy in the only center-based transdisciplinary program in Alabama. Last year alone, over 250 children from throughout the state receive these crucial services including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies as well as early childhood special education and we anticipate this year to be even bigger!
