The road course winds through the Edgewood community with entertainment provided by HHS marching band in ensembles. Expect to see neighbors in Edgewood cheering along as you complete our friendly 5K.

Friday, April 30th - 11am-6pm Trak Shak Homewood
Saturday, May 1st - 6:30-7:00 a.m. Picnic area at back of Homewood Park near Manhattan Street.
3. Race day Registration: $40 - 6:30-7:00 a.m.
4. No dogs allowed on the course. Strollers are welcome.
5. In the event of inclement weather, the race is canceled. No Refunds.

7:20 am Walk to Starting Line
7:30am Wave start, masks required during start of race, you may remove once you cross starting line, ONE HOUR CUT-OFF
8:30 am Streets open after the 5K
8:40 am Cahaba Cycles/Trak Shak Fun Ride/Run for kids (out and back from finish line of 5K to Trinity and back to finish line)
!!!T-shirts that are not picked up by race day will be sold by Homewood High School Patriot Band as a fundraiser!!!
Awards must be picked up at Trak Shak the week following the race.
We will make every effort to conduct this race in accordance with CDC guidelines. We will rely on each runner to conduct themselves with best practices during the race, including practicing physical distancing, proper hygiene, and wearing facial coverings. Participants will be required to wear facial coverings before the race begins and after they complete the event. The race will be chip-timed and will start in small waves. At the water stations, water will be poured into cups by volunteers wearing facial coverings and gloves.
