ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. You can still register at Packet Pickup on FRIDAY from 12 noon until 5pm. NO RACE DAY registration.
The Huntsville Inner City Learning Center has a mission: "To grow our students into Christ-like, lifelong learners and socially responsible citizens through after-school programs focusing on Biblical knowledge, mentoring, and academic support." With the Give it Back Track 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, they are giving back to the community. At the beginning of the year, the kids in the center heard presentations from various non-profit organizations. They chose the charity partner for the race to be Graces of Gurley. Graces of Gurley is a faith-based ministry focused on sharing Christ with the Gurley community through loving and serving however needed. Their goal is to support local churches, schools and our neighbors.
You can help the kids GIVE BACK by registering for either the 5K or the 1 Mile Fun Run, or you can make a donation by clicking the DONATE button. Proceeds from the race will be given to Graces of Gurley. You can support the kids of the HICLC by training and/or racing alongside them by volunteering to be a running buddy.
