Description
Come celebrate 50 years of the Huntsville International Airport by running the Runway Run 5k on June 23 @7:00AM. The 5K will be certified 5K run on the main runway of the Huntsville International Airport. The first 500 runners to finish will receive a commemorative medal to mark the anniversary of the airport and this event.
Late registration will be available at Fleet Feet Sports Huntsville on Friday June 22nd during packet pickup hours. 10:00AM to 6:00PM.
There will be no race day registration!

Finisher Medal
The first 1500 finishers will receive a custom Huntsville International Airport Runway Run 2018 Race Medal! We are designing the medal now and will post pictures as soon as the design is complete.
Awards
Age Group Awards (custom award medals in addition to a gift card to Fleet Feet Sports - Huntsville) will be given to the top 3 males and females in each of the following age groups:
0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
Overall Male & Female and Overall Male & Female Masters (age 40+ on race day) will each receive a $500.00 Travel Flight Voucher to Huntsville International Airport.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be at Fleet Feet Sports - Huntsville on Friday June 22nd from 10:00AM to 6:00PM.

Race day packet pickup will be available starting at 5:45AM at the Huntsville International Airport.
Race Morning Logistics
The gates into the parking area will be open at 5:30AM and packet pickup will begin at that time as well. We encourage everyone to pickup their packet on Friday at Fleet Feet Sports to alleviate race morning rush.
Coming from I-565: take the County Line/Madison Boulevard Exit (7) and turn right (south) onto County Line Road. Drive approx.. 4 miles, and turn left onto Boeing Boulevard. In 2.2 miles, you will take a left onto East Boeing Boulevard, and follow that road until you reach the runway, where volunteers will help guide you into parking.
If you are coming from another direction and need an address for your GPS, use: 1000 Boeing Boulevard, Huntsville, AL. This address will get you to the entrance of East Boeing Circle, where signage will direct you to parking.
DO NOT TAKE THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT EXIT, THERE WILL NOT BE ACCESS TO THE RUNWAY FROM THE TRADITIONAL PARKING DECKS OF THE AIRPORT.
