Description
Join us in the fight against hunger, and participate in the 8th Annual Secret Meals 5K. This event will be held on UAH’s campus in Huntsville, AL and we encourage participants of all ages and abilities. 100 percent of the proceeds from this event will provide weekend food packs to help feed children in North Alabama through the Secret Meals For Hungry Children program.

ENTRY FEE & REGISTRATION
Race participants will receive a t-shirt, swag bag and medal once they cross the finish line. The top three male and female finishers for the 5K will receive a prize.
UAH students - Please visit the Alabama Credit Union UAH branch to receive your $5 discount code.
Want to support this event by purchasing a t-shirt, but not interesting in running? Sign up as a supporter for $25 today, and your shirt will ship in October. Supporters will receive an event t-shirt that will ship on October 3. This does not include race registration.
RACE DAY:
Participant check-in begins at 7 a.m. and ends promptly at 7:30 a.m. at Alabama Credit Union's UAH branch. The race will begin at 8 a.m. and a Pet Zone will be provided.
PACKET PICK UP INFORMATION
Participants can pick up their packets on Friday, November 4 from 3 - 6 p.m. at Alabama Credit Union’s UAH branch located at 851 John Wright Drive OR you can choose to get your packet on race day at 7 a.m.
EVENT HOST & BENEFICIARY

GROUPS & TEAMS
Gather a group of friends and/or colleagues and race together to help provide Secret Meals for Children.
FIVE STAR CHAMPIONSHIP & TURKEY TROT
All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2023 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots. See Event Website
Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held on January 8, 2024. The number of spots available is based on the total registration. See Event Website
EVENT COURTESY & REFUND POLICY
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants; there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
