Ivy G's Mardi Gras March

Ivy G's Mardi Gras March is a run, walk/run event. There is both a 10k route and a 5k route. The event this year will be benefitting the Hope After Loss Organization (HALO), which provides grief support for pregnancy and/or infant loss. Runners that register before April 15 will get a free shirt with registration. Bib pickup and runner check in will be held on location starting 30 minutes before the scheduled run: 6:30 am for the 10k starting at 7:00 am; 7:30 am for the 5k starting at 8:00am. There are multiple water/Gatorade stations along both routes, along with biscuits and snack items provided afterwards. Trophies are awarded to the top 3 male and female winners for both run lengths in the following categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Every 10k finisher will also receive a medal. Starting line and finish line are both held in the parking lot of the Memorial Park Natatorium. Parking, restrooms, and a runners lounge are all provided on site.
