The 3rd Annual Team Eli Halloween Hustle Costume Run is a 5k Run/Walk for Adults and kids older than 12. Also for the kids 12 and under we will have a 1 mile fun run/walk.
This event began in 2016 to raise money for Sweet Elijah (Eli) Sims. Eli was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer at 21 months old. Sadly for us we had to say goodbye to Eli in April of 2017 as he gained his angel wings. However Team Eli is still active in keeping his memory alive. We hope to continue this event annually, choosing different organizations to donate to. This year we will be donating to Give kids the world. This is an awesome place in Orlando Fl. Where eli and his family stayed while visiting Disney world. This place is run strictly on donations and is 100% free for families. Please feel free to explore the website to learn more. They gave him joy in his last days and we would like to help them give that to someone else.

Our Purpose
Elijah (Eli) Sims. He is it. He is why we are doing what we are doing! Eli was diagnosed December 2016 at 21 months old with Stage 4 Liver Cancer, Hepatoblasoma that had metastasized to his lungs. He fought a heroic fight for 16 months but gained his angel wings April, 10 2017. This is a day that will forever be etched in our hearts and in our souls. Eli touched countless hearts in his short 3 years on this earth. His community came together like no other for him. Our 2016 event, the 1st Annual Team Eli Halloween Hustle was a success. We raised money that helped his family with Eli's medical bills. However, this year our mission has changed. We now need to keep Eli's memory ALIVE! We need to carry on his legacy. We hope to make the Halloween Hustle an annual event. We will select an organization or a child to help each year. Please join us!!! Let's make a difference for Childhood Cancer!!!!!

The Race Route In Words:
For the 5k: Start at the back pavilion in the Lineville City Park, out of the park turn right on HWY 9 to Megan Yates' Law Office, right on HWY 49, cross over the Henry D Riley Bridge, right onto Industrial Blvd, left on College St and back to the start in the park.
For the 1 mile: Start at the back pavilion in the Lineville City Park, around the back lake trail, around the front lake trail and back to the start.
