Description
One in 54 individuals are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The Snowman Shuffle is a virtual 5K that anyone anywhere can join in support of friends, family and others who face challenges associated with ASD.
With a Virtual 5K, all miles logged will be documented through RunSignup using various apps such as Fitbit, Apple Watch, Strava, Nike Run or any other apps. Just click on RESULTS tab in the menu above to log your miles. You choose any day in January to run (or walk) your 5K!
All participants will receive a virtual race bib and a medal.
For those who may be considering this as their first virtual run - Remember a virtual race can be run at ANY location. Be sure to connect with others too!
This event benefits the programs and services provided by the Autism Society of Alabama which has continued to serve individuals with autism and their families for over 20 years through programs such as family camps, Sibshops, Care Binders (autism resource binders), education and safety resources among others.
