Description

Fleet Feet Mobile is hosting a training program for Azalea Trail Run 5k & 10k 

Meeting will be held at Fleet Feet Mobile, and some local sites around Mobile, such as Carpe Diem.

Registration for Azalea Trail Run is not necessary to do this program.

Sign up now for our 5K (8- week), 10K (10-week) group training programs.

For Runners - Run/walkers - walkers

Monday, January 6th @ 6pm ALL GROUPS MEET at Fleet Feet for the info meeting (This is not mandatory): This will double as a info meeting for what to expect, needs, and *Good Form Running presentation. Be prepared to get moving this evening or watch and take notes!

Each week participants will be given 4 structured workouts to complete. 

Two workouts will be done as a group on Thursday evenings at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 7am. 

 

For those who would like to train for the 5k there are no pre-requisites to participate.

 

If you are planning to take part in the 10k training, we recommend that you be able to comfortably complete a 5k distance.

Program start: Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 6pm
Race date: Race day on March 22, 2025
Program length: 10 weeks
Program format: 4 structured workouts per week (2 of which will be done as a group)
Group workouts: Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 7am.

5k Distance: Azalea Trail Run (this is on the road)

Race date: Race day on March 22, 2025
Program length: 8 weeks
Program format: 4 structured workouts per week (2 of which will be done as a group)
Group workouts: Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 7am.
