It's the 13th year for the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute GO Run presented by the Catranis Family Charitable Foundation and we are going VIRTUAL! That means you have the freedom to run wherever you'd like, whether it's on a treadmill, indoor track, or the great outdoors. We've added new distances this year as well. In addition to our traditional 1 mile fun run/walk and 5K, we've added 10K and Half-Marathon distances. Now, more than ever we need your support, also now more than ever we all need to be actively moving. Set your goal, whatever that may be and prepare yourself to run with us (virtually) during the weekend of September 17th - 20th. All GO Run proceeds will benefit the amazing gynecologic cancer research taking place at the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute.
We encourage you to share this page with your friends and family across the country.
We recognize that regular exercise is important, now more than ever. While amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic we hope to offer a sense of community through our 5K beginner coaching program. Our goal with the Beginner Coaching Program is to empower you to become ready to run a 5K. Maybe the GO Run will be your first 5K ever, or your first run in a while. Whatever your circumstance, we want you to feel fit and strong and to successfully complete the GO Run 5K in September. We are providing you with a 9 week training program written by Brooks Running completely free regardless of your registration status. Lace up your shoes and start moving!

It is no secret that our beloved teams are what make the GO Run so special. Every year, numerous teams are formed in honor of loved ones, in support of those going through treatment, and those running on behalf of their company. We love to see you show this support through matching shirts or costumes. Even though this is a virtual event this year, we hope you will still participate with a team. Each team will have the ability to post their fundraising page to social media to garner support from your own networks. Prizes will be awarded this year to the largest team, highest fundraising team, best social networking team, and most creative team costume. We can't wait to see all of you engaging through social media.
Honor your loved one this year with a GO Run branded ribbon shaped magnet. This can be displayed on your car or any magnetic surface. There will be a large blank area on the ribbon where you can write the name of the person you are honoring during this year's GO Run. We invite you to get creative and post photos of your magnet.

Race swag is the best swag, right? We are very excited to showcase the custom race medal that our 10K, Half Marathon, and Weekend Warrior competitors will receive. We will release the T-shirt design soon - every race participant will receive a shirt. We are also working on more swag to fill your race packets.
During its 12-year history, the GO Run has attracted thousands of participants and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars to advance gynecologic cancer research. While great strides have been made, we need your help in fostering even greater awareness of this insidious disease and provide the critical funding needed to continue these research studies.
Our renowned gynecologic oncologists are helping women to fight, survive, and overcome gynecologic cancers each and every day. When new discoveries occur or innovative treatments are developed—whether across the world or down the hall in our research department—our physicians know about them and look for ways to employ these breakthroughs in the fight against female-specific cancers. At MCI, we treat some 1,000 cases of gynecologic cancer annually. Our patients are able to see first-hand researchers at work in our unique facility, providing hope and reassurance that we are striving to further innovation in research. Your support of gynecologic cancer research directly impacts the lives of our patients and so many more.
Our ability to advance gynecologic cancer research at the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute is made possible through the many generous donations and sponsors that participate in GO Run. While great strides have been made, we need your help in fostering even greater awareness and to provide the critical funding needed to continue the groundbreaking research being done right here in our community. We encourage you to not only serve as a sponsor, but to gather your office staff, family, and friends and form a team. We challenge you to take part in this truly incredible event which serves as a celebration for those who have battled all forms of gynecologic cancer and those fighting to find a cure!
To secure your sponsorship level, or for more information, please contact Casey Hitson at 251-460-6209 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
