Description
I Run Opelika, in partnership with Dad's League, are hosting a 5K Run/Walk and NBA All-Star themed, skills challenge. There will also be food, music, vendors and resource organizations providing essential information to the families of our community. This purpose of this event is to encourage fun and fellowship for families.
I Run Opelika, is a non-profit, dual purpose organization. The purpose is to promote healthy lifestyles not only through health and wellness, but also by equipping youth with the tools, knowledge, and positive role models to make healthier life choices. www.irunopelika.com
Dad’s League is a fatherhood initiative under the Family Resource Center based in Opelika, AL. http://dleagueconnects.org

The 5K have various awards that will be given out. These include 1st and 2nd place in 10 year age groups for the individual run/walk. We will also have prizes for the family 5K as well.
