Summer is coming and the beach is calling. What better way to get to the beach than on your own two feet. Starting on May 7th, your virtual journey to the sun, surf and sand will begin. You will have until September 7th to reach your final destination—the Flora-Bama on Orange Beach. This 600 kilometer journey will take you from Fleet Feet Huntsville, your favorite running store, to the Flora-Bama, one of the Alabama’s most famous beach establishments. The task may seem daunting, but only 5k a day will get you there on time. The journey begins with a t-shirt and ends with a medal. A leader board will be updated daily: who is going to get there first, and who is going to be the last one to the party. Come join us on this virtual adventure. The challenge awaits.
Each participant will receive a shirt and medal upon completion. You can have your items mailed.
We will have a Strava group set up for the event. This will be emailed to everyone prior to the start.
There will be a leader board.
There will be an Overall Male and Female Winner. The winners will win a $500 gift certificate to Fleet Feet Huntsville.
Times will be verified and analyzed by our race committee.
Each person will have access to My Virtual Mission. Links will be sent at registration.
