Lion Trot 8K, 5K and Fun Run

Start times:  

8K will start at 8:00 AM          

5K will start at 8:10 AM

Fun Run will start at 9:15 AM

Distances:  

Certified 5K (AL22034JE) and 8K (AL25029JE) courses through Saraland neighborhoods.  The courses are fairly flat; some gentle inclines.  Water provided along the course.  Fun Run is a flat out and back course that starts and finishes at the intersection of James Street and First Ave.

Registration:  

Mail in registration, postmarked by November 20, or pre-register in person by 12 PM, November 27, at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile.  

Day of race registration will be from 6:30 – 7:45 AM at the pavilion in Amelia Park.  

Register online at until 7 AM November 27. 

Race day registration fees will be increased by $5.

Awards:  

5K and 8K:  Top male and female finishers overall and top male and female walkers overall.  Top three in age groups of 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.  

Shirts:  

Shirts available for separate purchase - $10 for Youth Small through Adult X-Large; $15 for Adult 2XL through Adult 4XL.  To guarantee a shirt on race day, please order by November 20.  Shirts from previous Lion Trot races will be available for sale on November 27 at the race site.

Post-Race:  

Food, beverages, awards, and other activities provided for all race participants.
