5th Annual Dobarzynski 5K

Steven Dobarzynski, a brother of Troy’s chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, was diagnosed with leukemia seventeen years ago. 'Step4Life' was started to raise money for his medical costs. After his passing in 2002, the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, partnered with the Epsilon Xi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, have continued the annual event in his honor. Their efforts help fund life-saving research, impacting many lives in Alabama and across the nation. The Zeta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, alongside the Epsilon Xi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, have started the tradition of a 5 kilometer run, which was started back in 2015, in an effort to benefit those suffering from leukemia and lymphoma. Check in for this event will begin at 8:00 am in the lobby of Claudia Crosby Theater and the race will begin at 9:00 am.
