Virtual 5K Run/Walk ZOMBIE STYLE!

This HALLOWEEN we need YOU to dress up like the best ZOMBIE you can be and run or walk 3.1 miles to help the Troy Lions Club!

This fun run/walk will help our club SERVE our great community and beyond.  Our club provides vision screenings to children and adults. The vision screenings are a first step to help prevent avoidable blindness and improve quality of life for people who are blind and visually impaired  Our club also manages a school supply closet for teachers at a local elementary school.  This service project is called The Lion's Den.  It is fully stocked with items that students have a need for throughout the school year.  This project helps keep teachers from spending their own money on those needed items!  Our future goals are to add the same teacher resource closets to all of our area public elementary schools!

Our club is part of Lions Club International - the largest service organization on the planet with over 1.4 million members worldwide!

HOW OUR 5K WORKS

-Register for the Virtual Troy Lions ZOMBIE 5K by midnight on October 30th, 2020.

-Complete a 5K (3.1 miles) at your convenience any time, anywhere before midnight on Halloween, 10/31/20!  This can be in your neighborhood, on your favorite track or trail, while you travel, or even on a treadmill! Upload your time on our run page to make it official!

ZOMBIE SWAG EVENT PACKS

1) ZOMBIE Apocalypse USA will include your choice of a dri-fit shirt, a cotton blend t-shirt, or a ladies racerback tank top, as well as a finisher medal.

2) ZOMBIE BAIT USA will include a finisher medal. 

3) ZOMBIE International will include your choice of a dri-fit shirt, a cotton blend t-shirt, or a ladies racerback tank top, as well as a finisher medal shipped to international addresses.

We will ship out ZOMBIE SWAG packs on or before Friday, October 23.  Packets for any registration received after this date will likely be received after the final race date.

(Please register by Tuesday,  October 20 to be guaranteed your shirt style & size!) (We can ship out of the United States, just be sure to register for the International Event).

Zombie Costume Contest for the runners

If you choose to complete your run/walk on the day of Halloween, October 31st as a ZOMBIE be sure to take tons of pictures, post them on your favorite social media platform, and tag us @troyalabamalions or submit your  photos to our race site.  We will send an extra ZOMBIE treat to our favorite submissions! A ZOMBIE costume winner will be selected for each age group listed.   ZOMBIE Costume Categories: Kids Under 18 (free with a registered adult runner/walker),  Ages 19-34, Ages 35-49, Ages 50+
