The Blow Away 5K

The Alabama Friends of Cystic Fibrosis is proud to announce our 10th Annual Blow Away 5K.
Join us Saturday, November 9th, 2019 for the 10th annual “Blow Away 5K”presented by the Alabama Friends of Cystic Fibrosis! The run will be held at The Mall in Trussville: 225 Parkway Drive, Trussville, AL 35173. Race day check-in/registration on Nov. 9th will be from 6:30-7:45 a.m. near the tennis courts. Cash, checks and credit cards are all welcome. Race begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Packet pick-up will be on November 8th in the Heritage Hall between 10 am-5 pm. Heritage Hall is located on 225 Parkway Drive, Trussville AL, 35173.

What we offer this year:

• - A certified, flat race course
• - Digital race timing for the 5k race
• - Race packet, breakfast and race T-shirt (T-shirt is only guaranteed for the first 300 runners!)
• - Cash prizes: for overall top 3 male and female winners!
• - One mile fun run for the little ones for a 15$ entry fee starting at 9:00 am. Finisher medal for all registered participants.
• - Drawing for Door Prizes during the 5K, check the prize board for your bib number following the race!
• - Phantom Runner option: If you can't run but you just can't live without our race T-shirt: sign up as a Phantom Runner for 30$ before November 9th. We will mail the T-shirt for you anywhere in the continental USA after the race.

All proceeds of our race go towards research, awareness, and patient care for individuals that are battling with Cystic Fibrosis.
