This is a benefit race for Dickie Dees of Vernon, AL. This race is being hosted by Corinth Baptist located in Vernon, AL, Dickie is the pastor at Corinth Baptist Church. Dickie is currently receiving treatments to help fight his CLL Leukemia. All proceeds from this 5K will go to Dickie to help him with his medical expenses. He is having to travel from Vernon, AL to Houston, Texas to see his doctors at MD Anderson.
If you know Dickie, he loves life and is always using his time to help and minister to others. This event is a way we can support him and encourage him. This is the perfect opportunity to give back to Dickie, he has given so much to others.
He lives each day by focusing on God's will. His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me."
