Spark Virtual Race Series

We all run races for different reasons. Some race for that new PR or that age group award. Others sign up for races to keep us motivated and moving. Some just sign up for the swag!

Our mission at The Spark Foundation is to create a positive impact in the community by providing increased access to health and fitness education and opportunities. One of the biggest things we do is host races for our community and this pandemic has been a downer on all the spring race fun we had planned. With the Hero Half Marathon being the next big race on our schedule, we wanted to host a virtual race series to help get people ready to run for your Hero in October. We will have a one mile, 5K, and 10K virtual races that align with our free Hero Half Marathon Training Program. The best part is these races are FREE! Not sure what this Virtual Race Series thing is all about? You will run each race on one of the below dates. You then will have a link that will allow you to submit your time then we will have an overall leader board and age group leader board. Pay attention to your email and Facebook event page for info on deadlines to submit race times. 

One mile- July 25th and 26th

5k- September 5th and 6th

10k October 10 and 1th

Not planning to run the Hero Half Marathon this year? Well that's sad because you are totally missing out, but that's okay. You can still participate in our virtual races!
