One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. While tremendous progress has been made in research and treatment, there is still important work to do. Every diagnosis impacts no only the individual but also their family, friends, and community. 

Paint Chaffee Pink is more than a walk: it is a celebration of survivorship, a show of support for those currently in treatment, and a commitment to educating our community about breast health and early detection. Every step taken and every dollar raised stays local, helping provide free support services for breast cancer patients and their families throughout the River Valley.  

Held at the beautiful Celebration Garden and Wellness Park in Barling, this annual walk brings together survivors, families, caregivers, and advocates from across the region. It is a day filled with love, remembrance, and support, a visual reminder of the resilience found in every person affected by breast cancer. Paint Chaffee Pink is a chance to raise awareness, to honor those we’ve lost, to uplift those still in the fight, and to celebrate those who’ve come through it with hope. Whether walking in memory, in support, or in survivorship, every step taken echoes with compassion and purpose.
