Cave City Holiday Parade 2 Mile

DESCRIPTION - This is a 2 mile race through that starts at the Cave City Middle School and runs down Highway 167 to the Stop light on Center where it turns right and finishes on the scenic backstreets of Cave City through Matlock Road. Highway 167 will be a closed course featuring a huge crowd that will be set for the Christmas Parade as our runners lead the way 15 minutes before the annual Christmas Parade starts. After the race there will be an after party that all the runners are invited to at the Cave City Middle School.

Race entry fees include a T-Shirt and runners in the following age groups will receive an award. Top 3 male and Top 3 female overall. Age Group Categories (Top 3 Male and Female in each age group) 0-9; 10-14; 15-19; 20 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 - 69; 70+ 

BENEFICIARY
This race will support the Cave City High School Junior Class. The proceeds will help to raise funds for the Prom as well as the 2026 Graduation. 

LOCATION
The race starts and finishes at the Cave City Middle School. Please park in the Middle or Elementary Parking lot and be mindful of the parade floats that will gather.

ENTRY FEES
$20 race fee includes race entry, T-shirt (for racers registered by November 20 after which they will be first come; first serve until gone), Cookies, and a ticket to the Kiwani's drive through dinner (given out 11am - 3pm before the race. You will need to show your ID, your name will be on a list for those in charge of the dinner).  Race day registration will begin at 3:45 PM and cut off STRICTLY at 4:30pm. Make checks payable to: Cave City School District. $25 Day of Race Registration is available (Cash or Check ONLY for day race registration).

T-SHIRTS
All runners pre-registered by November 20th will receive a T-shirt. After November 20 T-shirts will be handed out until they run out on a first come, first serve at the registration tent for anyone who signs up after July 16th or on the day of the race.. Sizes: Youth M and L and Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL. If you ARE NOT registered by November 20 there is NO GUARANTEE you will receive a shirt.
