Pirate Dash 5K

If you love pirates and running, lace up your racing shoes and don your best pirate outfit for the Pirate Dash 5K! The 9th Annual Pirate Dash is gaining speed and will once again be offered both in-person and virtually this year.

The race will take place on April 25, with the 5K beginning at 8:00 AM and the 1-Mile Fun Run starting at 9:00 AM.

Hosted by the Dover Band members and Band Boosters, this event helps raise funds for new instruments, student scholarships, and future band program needs.

This year’s race will be professionally chip-timed by River Valley Runners, making it a great event for both competitive runners and families looking for a fun community race.

So grab your crew, dress like a pirate, and join us for a morning of fun on the run!

7:30 Check in / Registration begins 

8:00 5K starts

9:00-9:30 5K Awards will be announced

9:00 Fun Run Begins

9:30 Fun Run Ends

Dates & Deadlines

♦  Register by March 29th  to be guaranteed a shirt and medal. 

♦  If you register AFTER March  29th, we will provide you with a shirt based on your preferred size and inventory, (As supplies last) 

♦  All online registration ends April 24th, 2024, at 7 pm. 

♦  Walk on registration will be available morning of race. Shirt will be provided based on inventory (As supplies last)
