To kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness month, #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation is hosting the 11th Annual Paint the Town Pink on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. with a family friendly 5k Color Run/Walk through the beautiful downtown El Dorado. Our theme this year is Kissing Cancer Goodbye.
Again this year, in addition to our traditional family friendly 5K Color Run/Walk, we will have a competitive 5K race to begin the race in memory of Leslie Darden, who was a competitive runner before recently her battle with breast cancer. Leslie was a #teamcorrie grant recipient, who also raised money for #teamcorrie to help other cancer warriors.
This event is an opportunity for people of all ages to gather and show their support for #teamcorrie and all of those affected by this evil disease. All proceeds will be used by the #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation to continue their mission to help Union County cancer warriors by providing monetary grants to offset medical expenses incurred by their cancer treatments.
