Description

Join Us for the Hero for Baby 5k: A Superhero-Themed Run/Walk to Support Labor and Delivery Services!

Get ready to unleash your inner hero for a great cause at the Hero for Baby 5k, a superhero-themed 5k race benefiting labor and delivery services at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC). Your participation and support will directly impact the quality of healthcare provided to moms and babies in North Central Arkansas, ensuring vital services remain available to those who need them most.

Race Day: Saturday, April 19, 2025 - Race starts at 8:30 a.m.

Presented by the North Arkansas Medical Foundation, this exciting 5k run/walk is an event you won’t want to miss! Rally your friends, family, and fellow superheroes for a fun-filled morning of competition and community spirit. Whether you're running, walking, or cheering on your favorite hero, there’s a place for everyone!

Race Highlights:

  • Medals, T-shirts, and Superhero Gear: All participants will receive a race medal, a commemorative T-shirt, and superhero gear to wear with pride.
  • Trophies and Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Individual awards will be given to 1st-place runners in eight separate age divisions.

Race Packet Pick-Up

  • Dates: Thursday, April 17 and Friday, April 18
  • Time: Noon to 5:00 p.m. each day
  • Location: Community Relations office at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC). Look for signage at the front of the building, near the flagpole, to guide you to the right entrance. The Community Relations office is located just inside the glass doors to the right.
Please note: Packet pick-up is required in advance of race day to ensure you receive your T-shirt and bib. At packet pick-up, you’ll also receive a race route map and any important event updates.

Race Day Parking and Check-In

  • Start Time: 8:30 a.m., Saturday, April 19
  • Parking: Participants are encouraged to arrive early due to expected vehicular congestion and road closures before the race begins. Parking is available in the NARMC North parking lot, located just north of Sonic Drive-In, a short walk to the start line.
  • Check-In Tent: For those who have not picked up their race packet in advance, the Check-In tent will be located on the far east side of the hospital. If you’ve already picked up your packet, there’s no need to stop at the Check-In tent. Water and refreshments will be available at this red-and-white-striped tent closer to the race start and following the race.

We can’t wait to see you out there! Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to support a cause that’s close to the heart of our community and celebrate as a superhero for babies and families across North Central Arkansas!

Let’s race for a cause that matters and be a hero for tiny miracles.

See you on April 19th!
