Barrington Park 2-Miler

A 12-hour chip start window will allow you to start whenever you want and ensure that you stay socially distant without being socially absent.This contactless and inexpensive event was created simply to give my neighborhood something fun to do, but I wanted to open it up to the entire community since there hasn't been (and may not be) any races in a long time. This is free for Barrington Park residence, but we decided to open it up ($5 charge) for anyone else that wants to participate. Any funds raised will go towards lighting and decorations used at the front entrances.

1. At 6:30am I will set out a tag pick-up area near the starting line. The tags will be separated so that people can easily grab one pair of tags without touching any anyone else's tags. The safety pin will be the only thing you have to touch. The safety pin and tag are clean of course, but I may set out some hand sanitizer if it would make anyone feel any better.

2. The tag you grab will have a bib # written on them. Text or email me the number that is written on your tag (501-392-2657 or AgeeRaceTiming@gmail.com) and I'll plug it into the system via a slick mobile check in app. If you don't have your phone, just send me your bib # some time during the day, but if I can get it before you start then you'll be able to get your performance by scanning your tag at the results kiosk as soon as you finish. You'll pin the tag to the right side of your shorts.

3. There will be read points along the course to help keep the times honest and ensure that the official results only include those that ran the entire course. I'll have cameras and camcorders setup that will automatically take your photo as you pass the read points. I'll post those on RunSignUp so that you can see and download your photo(s) if you'd like.

4.  I'll periodically import the times and post results here on RunSignUp. Official/final results will be posted that night or the next day. After you finish you can either return the tags and safety pins in a tub near the finish line (at the results kiosk).
