Join us for the 3rd Annual 2026 SoMa Main Street Mile — a high-energy celebration of movement, community, and summer racing in the heart of Little Rock!
Get ready to lace up and fly down SoMa Main Street under the evening lights. Whether you're chasing a PR, testing your fitness, or enjoying a fun night out with family and friends, this mile has a place for you. Our event features the Kids Mini Mile, Open Heats, and the always electrifying Elite Mile.
Presented by Blue Rose Running in collaboration SoMa 501/ SoMa District and volunteers from all of the amazing individuals in the running/walking community and running clubs in Central Arkansas such as Little Rock Roadrunners, Arkansas Running Klub, Cabot Cruisers, Saline County Striders, Conway Running Club, and many more!) this event delivers unforgettable racing, a festival-style atmosphere, and one of the most exciting finishes you'll find anywhere in Arkansas.

Kid’s Mini Mile
– Ages 12 & under
– Children 8 & under must run with an adult*
Women's Open Mile
– For athletes typically above a 6:00 mile pace
Men's Open Mile
– For athletes typically above a 5:00 mile pace
Women's Elite Mile
– 6:00 mile pace and under
Men's Elite Mile
– 5:00 mile pace and under
COURSE DESCRIPTION

The race starts and finishes in the vibrant center of SoMa to create a true street-festival race experience for runners and spectators alike.
Begin on S. Main St., just past E. 13th St.
Run south down Main for ¼ mile
Turn right onto W. 17th St.
Left onto S. Louisiana St.
At the halfway point of the race, turn left onto E. Charles Bussey Ave.
Return to S. Main St., turn left, and charge north for the iconic final straightaway back to the Start/Finish arch for a strong downhill finish.
This fast, spectator-packed course makes the SoMa Mile one of the most unique racing experiences in the region.

All participants in the Kid's Mini Mile, the Open Miles and the Elite Mile will receive a finisher's medal!

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The race will start and finish at the same location in the heart of SoMa to maximize the experience for both participants and spectators! Starts on S Main St just past the intersection of E 13th St and S Main St. Head South down S Main St for 1/4 mile then take a right and go West on 17th St. Take a left and go South on S Louisiana St and at the 1/2 mile mark, take a left going East on E Charles Bussey Ave until you reach S Main St again then take another left and sprint North on Main St for the long final stretch of the race until you reach the Start/Finish Line!
Prize Purse
The SoMa Main Street Mile is stepping up in 2025 with an increased prize purse designed to attract top talent and fuel the fastest road mile in Arkansas! This race is not only about speed, but it's about growing the running community and showcasing elite level performances right in the heart of Central Arkansas! We want to bring excitement to running and road racing again and we know The SoMa Main Street Mile will do just that! With bigger rewards and prizes on the line, we are calling on ALL runners far and wide to bring their best and make history on the streets of SoMa! Get ready for the fastest road mile in the state!
The top 5 male and female finishers will receive a prize purse totaling $3,600 in 2025! The breakdown is as follows: $1,000, $500, $200, $100 and $50!
If you have any questions about compensations and prize purse, please contact us at brinfo@bluerosephysicaltherapy.com . We have the potential for travel compensation depending on current and past performances with anyone coming from out of state.
