Due to COVID-19 and the public health safety recommendations, the 2020 Marianna Disaster Dash 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run will be a VIRTUAL EVENT!
Runners & walkers may complete their distance anywhere at anytime and upload a picture to www.disasterdash.com or the Disaster Dash Facebook page. Every participant will receive a t-shirt and finishers medal!
We appreciate your support, patients and understanding during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing your virtual race pictures and seeing you in person at the 2021 Marianna Disaster Dash, June 12, 2021 OR join us in Little Rock, November 7, 2020!!
The Disaster Dash 5K's original missions is still in effect today - "To encourage people to get out and be active in their communities to help areas affected by natural disasters such as tornadoes and flooding."
Proceeds from the Disaster Dash will benefit the Jannette Jaco Memorial Endowment which was created to support nonprofit organizations that are first to respond to areas affected by natural disasters such as tornadoes and flooding.
