Break Away 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Safe Place is hosting BREAK AWAY 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, October 6, 2018. In 2017, Arkansas had 47 Domestic Violence Homicides. The goal of the event is to educate the community about domestic violence. The Safe Place is a domestic violence shelter committed to serving domestic violence victims and their children. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

9am - Proclamation Signing
915am - Pre-Race Stretch/Warm-Up hosted by Burn Studio
930am - 5K Race (Gun to Chip Finish)
945am - 1Mile Fun Run/Walk (Not Timed..help raise awareness for Domestic Violence)
1030am Awards

Local organizations will set up exhibitor tables where representatives from their organization can share educational information, demonstrations, fliers, brochures, giveaways, etc.

Early Registration Fee, Received By September 24:
Adults (18 and Older) $25
Students (11 through 18) $20
Children (10 and under) $15

Race Registration Fee, Received After September 24:
Adults (18 and Older) $35
Students (11 through 18) $25
Children (10 and under) $20
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Registration Fee: $20

Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 730 am in front of the Conway County Courthouse, Morrilton, AR.
Strollers are welcome in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk ONLY!
Course map will be provided on our Facebook page.
Parking on the street is available on railroad avenue and surrounding blocks. NO PARKING in front of the courthouse on South Moose Street.
