2016 Mission Run in the Ozarks Marathon

Isaiah 40:31
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Everyone, of all ages, encouraged to participate!!!! Bring lawn chairs for post-race activities! We are offering youth sizes!

The Mission Run in the Ozarks is a 4th annual event that features a 5k, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon through streets and Highways of Mountain View and Stone County Arkansas. This year’s event will also include a fun run (t-shirts only, no medals) behind the courtsquare and this will take place after the 5k run/walk.(Fun Run Registration closes on March 28, 2016!)  The events will start on the east end of town at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church and end on the downtown courtsquare of Mountain View and spectators will be allowed to encourage participants along the challenging, but yet, adventurous hills! Parking will be available at Flatwoods Church.  Events will be chip timed by Agee Race Timing. Packets can be picked up on Saturday morning April 9, 2016 starting at 6:30am at Flatwoods Church. Water stations will be available throughout the course, along with medical and volunteer personnel. Restrooms available on court square and portapotties are throughout the course. Post-race activities and other refreshments will be available. T-shirts are guaranteed to all who register prior to March 28th.  Proceeds will go to two local families, the Duncan’s and the Stewart’s, who are undergoing medical treatment. ARRIVAL: Have packet and timing chip picked up and ready to go no later than 7:30am at Flatwoods Church

Celebration and post-race activities include refreshments, bounce houses, and local business booths.

Race highlights t-shirts, medals, post-race activities, medical aid stations, and finish line celebration
