Description
The Funnel Cake 5k is back as part of Searcy's Get Down Downtown Festival on Saturday, September 28! This fast and flat 5k starts at 8:00 a.m. at the corner of Arch and Spring streets. The Funnel Cake 5k will be professionally chip timed! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate! All registered 5k participants will receive a voucher for a free funnel cake! Not ready for a 5K? No problem! Register for the Cotton Candy Classic 1-mile event and receive a voucher for a free cotton candy. There is also a virtual option for those who would like to participate but are unable to attend. Virtual runners receive a race shirt too!
The Funnel Cake 5K is only $30 if you register by August 31. From September 1- 27 registration is $35 per entry. Race day registration is available for $40 from 6:30-7:30 Saturday morning. The Cotton Candy Classic is only $20 by August 31 and $25 from September 1-27. Race day registration is available for $30 from 6:30-7:30 Saturday morning. Register by September 14 to guarantee your shirt size.

Funnel Cake 5k Race Route
The Funnel Cake 5k begins at the intersection of W. Market and N. Spring St. After one block, runners will turn right onto W. Center Ave where they will head west for a little over one mile. Runners will then turn right onto S. Pyeatt briefly and then make a left onto W. Arch Ave. Runners will cross N. Ella and make a loop around Lynwood Dr. onto Marshall and finally back onto W. Arch Ave. Runners will remain on W. Arch for the remaining 1.25 miles of the race and finish just past the White County Courthouse.
