Club Spinistry Virtual La Ruta Suave

1000 Miles across Texas via the BKOOL simulator!

The route is a simulation of the paved version of the RAT 1000 which we plan to launch in October of 2020 along side the traditional dirt roads RAT. FREE for Club Spinistry members. Feel free to join now if you still need to. https://www.bikesignup.com/Club/TX/Roanoke/ClubSpinistry

Registered participants will receive emails with details prior to the 5/1/20 start. Riders can attempt each segment on their own schedule but must begin between 5/1/20 and 5/15/20. Riders must complete all segments by 6/15/20 to receive a completed time. Segments range from 23 miles for the first segment to 100 miles for the final segment. Most are between 50K and 100K in distance. You must complete a segment in one continuous ride (you can not exit and return) but you can get off the bike for extended breaks if needed (at least 60 minutes at a time/final details tbd).

This is a simulated version of the RAT 1000 pavement edition which we plan to roll out this year when conditions permit.

The Virtual version will be available on the BKOOL smart trainer platform beginning 5/1/20. This gives us time to hopefully setup competitive stages and associated formatting for the racer types but this isn't just for racers. It also allows time for riders to get the smart trainer setups on BKOOL dialed in. Each stage will likely be in the 50k-100k distance range and riders will be able to attempt each stage as it fits into their individual schedules.
