We invite you to join us for our first-ever Cognizant WE Walk in support of breast cancer awareness and research.
As sponsors of Estee Lauder’s Tech Day of Pink, we have chosen October 14 at 1:00 PM (your local time) to encourage all of our associates to wear something pink, get outside and walk to show your support of breast cancer awareness.
Anyone can register and take part in this initiative! Walk with family/friends, local colleagues or on your own. Remember, our biggest priority remains the safety of our people so please follow all local laws and health restrictions, and wear masks and social distance when applicable.
Walking just 20 minutes a day has many health benefits, such as improving your mood, keeping your brain sharp and increasing your energy. There is no set distance or duration for the WE Walk – the choice is yours.
Be sure to download the Racejoy app via your phones app store, search for 'Cognizant WE Walk', enable tracking, and tap through the setup screens beforehand to ensure you are ready to go on the day of the event. This is how we will measure our collective impact. A job aid for the app will be sent to you in an email after registering.
Make sure to share your photos during and after the event by uploading them to the photos tab above and using the following hashtags when posting on social media: #CognizantWEWalk #BIGAgainstBreastCancer #TechInPink2021 #AllBelong.
If you'd like to listen to music while walking, check out our WE Walk Spotify playlist or search 'Cognizant Events' in the Spotify app.
We look forward to “walking together” on October 14 at 1:00 PM (your local time).
Live Phone Tracking, GPS Progress Alerts and Cheers!
