Description
Join us for the annual #BeBrave 5k at Central Arizona College. All proceeds help provide care for local people who are uninsured or underinsured by providing mammogram screening and other diagnostic testing. The route is a scenic one around the CAC campus and at the finish line you will be greeted by volunteers with a spread of drinks and after race goodies. Bring a friend and enjoy the great weather, music, and fun!

FAQ
Will there be packet pick-up for the in-person race? Yes, packet pick-up is from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, Feb. 25th at the Keller Williams Legacy One Realty office located at 475 E Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande, AZ 85122 AND there will be race day packet pick-up from 6:30am-7:30am.
Will there be race day registration? Yes, race day registration will be $45 and will be from 6:30am-7:30am.
Is there a bag check? No, please secure your valuables in your vehicle.
Will there be age bracket awards? Yes, there will be overall male and female awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. In addition there will be age bracket awards for male and female participants in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+. The awards presentation will take place at approximately 8:45am.
When does the event start/end?
The in-person race begins at 8:00am at Central Arizona College.
For the virtual race you start anytime. Run, walk, or jog your race anywhere. You have until Feb. 26th to complete your 5k.
When will I receive my race medal for the virtual race?
The race medals will be mailed approximate Feb. 15th.
When do I get my race bib for the virtual race?
You can download and print your custom bib immediately after registering. The link to your bib is in your confirmation email and also in the Quick Links email sent to you the day after your registration. If you can't find your confirmation email, you can resend it to yourself within your profile. How do I find my finishers certificate?
1. Click on the "RESULTS" tab at the top of the race page
2. Click "SUBMIT RESULTS"
3. Look up your name.
4. Enter the miles or minutes you completed in the calendar.
5. Click "Certificate" in the upper right corner.

Will there be COVID precautions taken at the in-person event? Yes, the race committee is working closely with the race timing company to provide a safe environment. Start times may be staggered or in waves. All on course water will be provided in unopened water bottles.
Are there refunds if the in-person race is cancelled due to COVID restrictions? No, in the unfortunate event that the in-person race is cancelled this race will be a virtual only and there are no refunds.
*Note: It takes up to 24 hours for the system to update new participant registrations so you may not be able to start placing your results until the day after you register.
